Bristol based leading legal expenses insurer, DAS, scooped awards for ‘Performance and Quality’ and ‘Team Leader of the Year’ at the South West Contact Centre Forum (SWCCF) Awards held in Bristol last week.
The SWCCF Awards recognise excellence from call centre staff, teams and managers in the South West for engaging, motivating and training members of staff, as well as quality in the services they deliver.
DAS employees from the company’s Operational Claims department, which contains the Contact Centre, were shortlisted for four awards across three different categories. The Contact Centre is the hub for providing assistance to customers looking to access the services provided in their DAS insurance policies. This assistance can range from connecting customers looking for legal advice to the legal advisors in DAS Law to arranging for a contractor to attend a home emergency.
Nanda Sharma was nominated in the ‘Hero of the Year’ category. The Monitoring & Performance Team won the ‘Performance and Quality Award’ and both Marcus Handford and Sarah Kirby were shortlisted for the coveted ‘Team Leader of the Year’ Award, which went to Marcus for his vast knowledge, skill, experience and exceptional dedication to his team.
