Cat started working in PR in 2010 focussing primarily on the financial services sector. She has worked across a variety of accounts within this market, covering platforms, networks and nationals and asset management companies and has strong contacts amongst the press in this industry.
An avid user of social media, Cat regularly blogs and tweets about market news and has run a number of social campaigns on behalf of clients both on LinkedIn and Twitter. However, she is still a staunch supporter of traditional, print media and frequently acts as a ghost writer across the financial accounts on which she works. As well as composing copy for PR material, Cat has also worked on advertisement campaigns – creating both the concept and imagery as well as the accompanying wording.
Cat joined FWD in 2013 and heads up a range of accounts in the pure financial services sector. She cites project and targeted campaign work as her preferred areas of focus due to the change in pace for the clients involved and the extended range of press opportunities available.
As a fluent speaker of French and Spanish, Cat also deals in developing the international reach of FWD, both in Europe and the Americas, travelling regularly to Europe as a representative of FWD to maintain strong relations amongst the press abroad.
Cat is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and holds a first class honours BA from Leeds University in French and Spanish.
